Graduated from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University with honors. Developed strong communication and storytelling skills and gained practical experience in digital media production.

Cornell University. Explored the fundamentals of digital marketing, including social media management, content marketing, and SEO strategies.
Work Experience
2023 - 2024
Assistant Culture Editor & Digital Editor at The Daily Orange. Managed social media content produced by stories, writing tweets, headlines, Instagram captions and Facebook descriptions for every story. Wrote and edited stories written by peers.
2023 - 2025
Student Fellow at the Lender Center for Social Justice. Use oral history to approach people undergoing personal and global hardship to create and commission an art gallery. Using data collection and analysis of news articles using MAXQDA.

Social Media Intern at Syracuse.com. Report on-site regularly, conducting interviews and capturing content. Filming and editing short-form video in vertical format for Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.

Welcome to my world of storytelling! Growing up half-Pakistani in rural Ohio taught me the power of narratives, and through journaling, discovered my passion for writing. As I transitioned from print journalism to the digital realm, I embraced the freedom to express creativity and amplify diverse voices.
